KOZHIKODE: Debashis Chatterjee, Director, Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) will inaugurate the three-day Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) Advocacy and Training Programme for principals and teachers at Silver Hills Public School here on Tuesday. Principals and teachers of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools in the districts from Thrissur to Kasaragod will participate in the training programme. Its objective is to familiarise the principals and teachers with the conduct of the Class X examination, the grading and percentile system being followed and to generate awareness of the School-Based Assessment and CCE Scheme being introduced for Class IX from the current year. The Principal and two senior teachers from each participating school will be required to attend the programme. The workshop will be guided by resource persons sent by the CBSE, New Delhi. K. Ramachandran, Sugheetha Rajan, Meena Viswanathan and Vijayalakhmi will be the resource persons.
