MLB Trust School to hold district-level kids festival

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Gayatri Vidya Parishad MLB Trust School at East Point Colony will organise a district-level children festival from November 11 to 14. DEO P.R. Mallikarjuna Sastry will inaugurate the festival in which several competitions will be conducted for schoolchildren in the 4 to 15 years age group in 12 events in 39 groups, according to GVP secretary P. Somaraju.

The competitions will be organised in association with the District Education Department and CMR Shopping Mall.

Competitions will be conducted in drawing and painting, Telugu poems, fancy dress, essay-writing, staging play-lets, folk dance, elocution, patriotic, classical and semi-classical songs, classical dance general knowledge and writing skills.

Prize distribution will take place on November 14.
