Coimbatore: A two-day training programme on bakery products will be held at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University on November 11 and 12.

The growth of the bakery industry will help to create avenues for self employment. The training will cover varieties of bread, cake and cookie, burger, pav bhaji, pizza and pie.

The training will be provided at a fee of Rs 1,000. Participants need to send a demand draft of the amount drawn in favour of Dean (Engineering), payable at Coimbatore, to the Professor and Head, Post Harvest Technology Centre, TNAU.

Participants are requested to register their names on or before November 10.
