Subsidy for seed processing units

TIRUCHI: Special subsidy will be released for setting up seed processing units under the Centrally-sponsored National Agriculture Development Programme (NADP). The programme has the twin objective of stepping up the annual growth in agriculture sector and ensuring economic uplift of economically weaker sections such as women self-help groups, Collector T. Soundiah said in a press release issued here on Wednesday.

A maximum subsidy of Rs.7.5 lakh would be released for setting up a unit.
