Nation-wide contest on MDGs

NEW DELHI: The winners of a nation-wide contest on the Millennium Development Goals through which young Indians from across the country came up with ideas on how to eradicate poverty, get children into schools, provide safe drinking water, improve the environment, provide health care and remove gender disparities will be announced here on Tuesday.

Titled “Mera India, Bridge the Gap”, the contest was designed to spread awareness among youth of the country about India’s commitment to the MDGs .
