THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The silver jubilee celebrations of the Silent Valley National Park scheduled to be held on November 15 and 16 have been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The celebrations will now be held on November 21 and 22 in Palakkad and Mukkali. The celebrations will get underway with a national seminar in Palakkad on November 21. It will be attended by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, Union Minister of State for Environment and Forests Jairam Ramesh, Forest Minister Benoy Viswom, Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary T.K.A. Nair and prominent environmentalists.
