Pulse polio campaign

PERAMBALUR: The pulse polio campaign will be organised in the district on January 10 and February 7 next year and the district administration has taken all efforts for mobilising the support of the volunteers and the service-organisations. District Collector M. Vijayakumar convened a meeting of health officials and representatives of non-governmental organisations and discussed the strategy to be followed for the first phase. The Collector also gave away certificates to doctors and Village Health Nurses in recognition of their outstanding service during the last year’s campaign. The Deputy Director of Health, Mohan, and president, Rotary Club of Perambalur, Aravindan attended the meeting.
