N.G. Ranga’s birth anniversary celebrated
HYDERABAD: The 109th birth anniversary of former MP N.G. Ranga was organised by Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion Agriculture Minister N. Raghuveera Reddy expressed confidence that Chief Minister K. Rosaiah would continue the pro-farmer policies launched by his predecessor Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
After garlanding N.G. Ranga’s statue in front of the administrative block, the Minister addressed the function, recalling Ranga’s efforts during 60 years for bettering the lot of farmers.
The same efforts were replicated and the dreams of Acharya Ranga were fulfilled by Dr. Reddy.
