BANGALORE: The Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) has directed the State Government to reserve one post of tahsildar to persons suffering from locomotor disability or cerebral palsy. Quashing a government order of September 13, 2005, that related to exclusion of persons suffering from cerebral palsy or locomotor disability, a KAT Bench comprising P.S.S. Thomas and Manjula Devi said one post of tahsildar should be reserved for such persons. The Bench passed the order on an application by M. Kempahonnaiah of Siddartha Layout, Mysore. — Staff Reporter
