Kashmir Minister visits TB institute

BANGALORE: Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Medical Education R.S. Chib visited the National Tuberculosis Institute, Bangalore, on Friday. Participating in the inaugural session of the national workshop on “capacity building and experience sharing by Intermediate Reference Laboratory (IRL) Microbiologists,” Mr. Chib highlighted the importance of IRL for quality assured laboratory diagnosis of tuberculosis especially in the context of the menace of Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis. — Staff Reporter
