Vishwanath wants Governor to intervene

MYSORE: Mysore MP Adaguru H. Vishwanath here on Saturday urged Governor H.R. Bhardwaj to direct Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to “resume” work in the interest of flood affected people of north Karnataka. He told presspersons that Mr. Yeddyurappa and his Cabinet colleagues were on a sabbatical. It was time the Governor summoned Mr. Yeddyurappa and discuss him the state of affairs, besides directing him to act suitably, he added. Mr. Vishwanath said that Reddy brothers were businessmen in the garb of politicians. For them, their business interest was more important than the interest of the people in the State. — Staff Correspondent
