Free training

KRISHNAGIRI: A six-month free training in tailoring would be given to the spouse of the ex-servicemen, servicemen and their unmarried daughters at the office of the Assistant Director, Ex-servicemen Welfare, Krishnagiri from December 1, 2009. Minimum qualification for enrolment is a pass in standard V. During the training period, the trainees would be given Rs. 20 as stipend per day and Rs. 500 worth of clothes free of cost. At the end of the training programme, trainees would be distributed a certificate and sewing machine with a subsidy of Rs. 1500. Interested applicants are advised to send their applications on or before November 20 to the Assistant Director, Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Krishnagiri, says a press release issued by Mr. Manivannan, here recently.
