JVV science talent test held

Special Correspondent

KADAPA: One hundred and twelve students from 22 mandals in Kadapa district appeared for a science talent test conducted by Jana Vignana Vedika at the District Common Entrance Board hall here on Saturday.

Such contests will promote a spirit of competitiveness and enable them to lose examination phobia, the chief guest T. Gurrappa stated. JVV should be in the forefront in enlightening the people against the deeply ingrained superstitions, JVV Health Committee member S.A. Farooq said.

State Teachers Union publicity committee member L. Jamal Reddy said students can hone their skills by taking part in such tests in addition to studies.

JVV State vice-presidents Viswanatham and Kadapa town unit president Sudhakar said the State-level science talent test would be conducted at Hyderabad on November 13 and 14. JVV State vice-president A.V. Ramanaiah, honorary district president G.S. Ramgopal, advocate Bharani Kumat and others participated.
