Dodla Dairy unit manager claims to have been relieved of Rs. 6.41 lakh in cash and valuables KADAPA: Jammalamadugu police declared on Saturday that a complaint lodged by Dodla Dairy unit manager Ramanjaneya Reddy that he was waylaid by unidentified persons Proddatur road in Jammalamadugu on November 2 and relieved of Rs. 6.41 lakh worth of cash, gold chain, cell phone and a bike was a false one. Police intercepted one Nagaraju who was coming on a motorcycle near the Pennar bridge on Jammalamadugu-Muddanur road, arrested him when he tried to speed away and recovered Rs. 3.41 lakh, gold chain, cell phone and motorcycle belonging to Ramanjaneya Reddy. IrregularitiesRamanjaneya Reddy and Nagaraju together hatched the plan of waylaying, as the former was on the verge of losing his job owing to irregularities as he was in need of money, Jammalamadugu Urban circle inspector John Manohar told newsmen at Jammalamadugu.
