Tamil Nadu bags title

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu emerged the overall champion with a total of 20 points in the Junior National tennikoit championships held at Kurukshetra recently.

E. Arivazhagan won the boys’ singles title beating Statemate S. Vignesh Karukuvel in the final.

G. Thirugnanam and S. Pasupathy won the boys’ doubles event and V. Madhubala finished runner-up in girls’ singles.

Tamil Nadu also won the boys’ team championship.
