Panel inspects works in Madurai

MADURAI: Members of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Estimates Committee inspected various development works in the city on Friday.

According to a press release, the MLAs, led by its chairman Kuttalam K. Anbalagan, inspected the Corporation School at Shenoy Nagar, a modern slaughter house, the annexe building of Government Rajaji Hospital being constructed near Anna bus stand, a few ration shops and the south taluk office among others.

Later in the evening, the committee reviewed the works with officials at the Collectorate.

The MLAs included S. Lakshmanan, Dr. T. Sadan Thirumalaikumar, P. Chinnappan, N. Nanmaran, P. Balaraman, Hasan Ali, Vidiyal S. Sekar and K.S.K. Rajendran.
