Special camp for exchange of soiled notes

TIRUCHI: The Indian Bank, Circle Office, Tiruchi in association with Reserve Bank of India, Chennai will conduct a one-day special camp for exchange of soiled and mutilated notes on November 11 (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the city.

The camp will be held at Indian Bank, Rockfort Branch at Theradi Kadai Street. A press release from the bank has appealed to the general public and traders to utilise the camp.

The release further said only paper gum tape should be used for pasting at the back of the cut notes and plastic cello tape should be avoided.

The general public are advised to follow this procedure for quick disposal at the camp.
