CMC officials told to ensure quality roadworks

M.P. Appachu Ranjan, Madikeri MLA, inspecting the road work in Madikeri on Friday.

Madikeri: M.P. Appachu Ranjan, Madikeri MLA, on Friday directed the officials of the Madikeri City Municipal Council (CMC) to ensure quality while concreting the road between Major Muthanna Circle and the private bus stand and complete the work soon.

He was inspecting the work on the road along with S.G. Medappa, MLC, and president of the CMC P.D. Ponnappa and councillors. Work should be taken up as per specifications, he told the contractors.

Mr. Ranjan expressed satisfaction after inspecting the work and the material used.

Mr. Ranjan told the engineers of the CMC to monitor the work.

Madikeri City Municipal Council Commissioner Srikanth Rao explained about the progress made in the implementation of the road project.
