Bal Bharati blanks Modern

NEW DELHI: Bal Bharati School (Pitampura) defeated Modern School (Barakhamba Road) 2-0 in the final of the boys under-19 section in the sixth Modernites inter-school hockey tournament at the Modern School ground here on Thursday. Adit Pathania and Arijit Kapoor scored the goals.

In the under-15 final, Bhatnagar International School defeated Bal Bharati School (Pitampura) 2-1, thanks to Ankit Chaudhary and Saurav Chhabra. Pulkit reduced the margin for Bal Bharati.

Olympian Jagbir Singh was the chief guest.
