Science Congress held

SALEM: The XVII District-level Children’s Science Congress held in Salem district recently attracted over 60 research papers.

About 300 students from 20 schools participated in the Congress and presented the research papers.

The teams led by A.S. Nivedhitha, K. Priyanka, A. Rinisha, B. Kirubalakshmi, G.V. Swathipriya and G.J. Goutham were selected to participate in the State-level science congress. The Salem district unit of Tamil Nadu Science Forum organised the programme at the VMKV Engineering College.

Mayor J. Rekha Priyadarshini, Vinayaka Missions University Chancellor A. Shanmugasundaram, Government Medical College Hospital Dean Shanmugam, Forum’s District President A. Samson Ravindran and members of various institutions were present.
