“Lay cement roads”

TIRUCHI: Transport Minister K. N. Nehru has directed the Tiruchi Corporation officials to lay cement concrete roads in Chinnasamy Nagar near Andakondan in the city. He also instructed them to build drainages along the road to ensure that rain water did not stagnate. The Minister, who inspected the place recently, instructed the officials to construct separate public conveniences for men and women in the locality. Adequate garbage bins should also be installed, he said. S. Sujatha, Mayor, T. T. Balsamy, Corporation Commissioner, M. Anbazhagan, Deputy Mayor, accompanied him, according to a Corporation press release.
