Meet to focus on management of woman’s health Around 300 obstetricians and gynaecologists to attend VISAKHAPATNAM: The Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of Visakhapatnam is organising a two-day continuous medical education programme, Fine Tuning 2009, here on Saturday and Sunday, for creating more awareness for its members on the latest skills and current concepts in the management of woman’s health. The OGSV, formerly known as Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of East Andhra Pradesh, is 43 years old and is conducting a CME every year apart from free medical camps and other programmes for the people and monthly scientific meets, workshops, training programme and other academic activities for its members. Around 300 obstetricians and gynaecologists would attend the meet and some top professionals like Pankaj Desai, Mala Arora, Durusha, Bharathi Dorepatil, Saras Chandrika, Sasikala Kola, Uday Thanewala, Pranathi Reddy and others would deliver lectures and give demonstrations, chairperson of the organising committee and HoD of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Andhra Medical College and KGH P.P. Srinivas Murthy informed at a press conference here on Wednesday.
