Mohali: The Indian team has been retained for the last three One-Day Internationals of the Hero Honda Cup series against Australia. The selectors met here late on Monday night and decided to stick to the same combination led by M.S. Dhoni.
The selection committee chaired by K. Srikkanth also allowed Dinesh Karthik, who was called in as cover for the injured duo of Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, to rejoin the Tamil Nadu team for the Ranji Trophy game against Railways that commenced at Delhi on Tuesday.
India will take on Australia in the fifth ODI of the seven-match series at Hyderabad on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dhoni said that Gambhir is likely to be fit for the Hyderabad game.
