KOCHI: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed a single judge’s order restraining the Union government and the Directorate of Film Festivals from publishing the results of the selection of films made to the Indian panorama section of the International Film Festival of India, 2009, to be held in Goa from November 23. The Bench comprising Chief Justice S.R. Bannurmath and Justice A.K. Basheer lifted the interim stay on an appeal filed by the Centre and the Directorate of Film Festivals. The single judge had ordered that the interim stay would remain in force until the writ petition challenging the selection of the films was disposed of.
