Wage revision for TNEB employees

CHENNAI: Wage revision for the Electricity Board employees as per the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations would be implemented by this month-end. A statement from Ramachandran, general secretary, Electricity Employees Sammelan, said representatives of various unions of the Board met Electricity Minister N. Veeraswami on Tuesday and held discussions in this regard. During the meeting, the Minister assured them that the revision would be implemented soon. — Special Correspondent
