Rates revised

BANGALORE: Vijaya Bank has effected revision in interest rates on FCNR (B) deposits with effect from November 1, 2009. The rate of interest (in per cent a year) is: 2.17 (Pound Sterling), 2.20 (U.S. Dollar) and 2.23 (Euro) for deposits of one year and above but below two years; 2.95, 2.30, and 2.84 respectively for deposits between two years and three years; 3.60, 2.90 and 3.28 respectively for deposits between three and four years; 4.03, 3.38 and 3.57 respectively for deposits between four and five years; and 4.30, 3.74 and 3.81 respectively for five years deposits only.
