The Nalanda Degree College organised a seminar on the “Stars and their existence”, when speakers referred to the unfounded fears about the ‘end of the world in 2012’. B.R.K. Reddy, PS and CR College of Engineering, said that changes in the galactic alignments were very natural and there should no need for reading anything amiss into this. He asserted that the scientists had made in-depth study of these things. Principal M. Anuradha presided over the meeting.
