Helping students beat exam stress

Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: If you are one of those students whose mind goes blank while peering into the question paper inside the examination hall, this one may be of help.

The Trivandrum Management Association will conduct a lecture on “Exam stress? No more worries” on Saturday for students in classes X, XI and XII and their parents to help candidates face the battle with poise and confidence.

Common problem

The lecture at the TMA Hall in Jawahar Nagar will focus on finding a solution to one of the common problems confronting the students.

M.K.C. Nair, director, Child Development Centre, who will lead the lecture, will explain the various causative factors associated with examination-related stress and how to control them to the parents and students.

Revision

The session will tell students how to revise their lessons effectively and how to eliminate the feeling of butterflies in the stomach before entering the examination hall. Since most of the parents also experience the stress along with their children, Mr. Nair will come up with some helpful hints for them.

For details and registration, call 272 4786 or 9447 494729.
