‘Minorities should feel safe’

HYDERABAD: Former Union Minister, Renuka Chowdary felt that creating an atmosphere where minorities feel absolutely safe was important for the survival of the country and multiculturalism was a reality of India.

She expressed these views while delivering a lecture on “Can Indian polity survive without multiculturalism,” organised by the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) here on Tuesday marking the inauguration of a refresher course on Multiculturalism and English. Mazharuddin
