HYDERABAD: Space enthusiasts now have a chance to interact with scientists from NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). Planetary Society India (PSI) and NASA CSAD (Cassini Scientist for A Day) India Organising Committee are conducting ‘NASA Cassini Scientist for A Day’ India contest 09, according to a press release here. Participants have to write an essay of 500 words imagining themselves as Mission Scientists. They will be given three target images of which they have to choose any one and write about why they chose that particular target and what they hope to find there. Winners will get an opportunity to interact with current and ex scientists from NASA. They will be recognised as ‘Cassini Scientist for a Day’ from India and their names will be published on the NASA website. Students from classes five to 10, interested in learning about Planet Saturn and the Cassini –Huygens mission of NASA are eligible for the contest.
