Yeddyurappa called to Delhi

Bangalore/New Delhi: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has been summoned to New Delhi by the BJP leadership after the revolt against him by party dissidents showed no signs of dying down.

Mr. Yeddyurappa said he was leaving for the national capital on Wednesday evening. “I will go to New Delhi tomorrow evening. I just now spoke to (senior party leader) Venkaiah Naidu. He told me about so many developments in Delhi,” he told presspersons in Bangalore. — PTI
