Easy for KCA ‘B’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KCA ‘B’ cruised to an eight-wicket win over KCA ‘C’ in the State under-16 inter-zone cricket tournament at the Medical College ground on Tuesday.

Needing 106 runs to secure an outright win, KCA ‘B’on the strength of the unbroken third wicket stand between Sudeesh (34 not out) and Ajay (33 not out) reached the target without much fuss. At the Agriculture College ground, KCA ‘A’ defeated KCA ‘D’ by six wickets.

The scores: KCA ‘C’ 172 & 119 lost to KCA ‘B’ 186 & 106 for two in 38 overs (Sudeesh 34 n.o., Ajay 33 n.o.); KCA ‘D’ 132 & 137 in 53 overs (Unni Mohan 49, Vishnu N.Balu 35, T. Rahul seven for 55) lost to KCA ‘A’ 175 & 96 for four in 30 overs.
