The Public Works Minister of Mysore, Mr. H.M. Channabasappa, said the Mysore Government might take the initiative to convene a meeting of the representatives of the Mysore and the Madras Governments to explore the possibilities of arriving at a settlement of certain outstanding issues between them in respect of the utilisation of the waters of the Cauvery.
