MYSORE: Two labourers who were trapped under debris in a landslide at a mica mine at Gopalapura village in Jayapura police station limits in Mysore district died here on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Jawarashetti (45) and Malavaiah (31). Reports said the deceased were migrant labourers from Chamarajanagar district. Superintendent of Police Rama Subba told The Hindu that they died on the spot. No other casualties have been reported. The bodies were recovered and doctors conducted post-mortem at Jayapura. — Staff Correspondent
