Nod sought for case against Rahul

Kochi: A petition was filed before Advocate-General C.P. Sudhakara Prasad seeking his sanction to initiate contempt-of-court proceedings against Rahul Gandhi, MP and Congress leader, for violating the High Court verdict banning politics on college campuses. In his petition, C. Krishnakumar, Bharatiya Janata Party Palakkad district secretary, also sought sanction to initiate contempt-of-court proceedings against the principals of Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, Maharajas College, Ernakulam, and Feroke College, Kozhikode.
