Yeddyurappa miffed at legislators

TORANAGAL (BELLARY DISTRICT): Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa rebuked the legislators of flood-hit areas for deserting their constituencies. They were expected to camp in their constituencies and monitor the rehabilitation programmes besides instilling confidence among the people that the Government was with them and would provide help, he said.

“If the legislators of the flood-affected areas do not return to their constituencies within two days, I will visit such constituencies and launch the rehabilitation programmes. After that, the legislators would realise what the people would think about them,” he said. — Staff Correspondent
