Conductor assaulted

CHICKABALLAPUR: Supporters of a Chickaballapur Zilla Panchayat member allegedly smashed the windscreens of a KSRTC bus and assaulted the conductor in Chickaballapur town on Monday evening. Police said ZP member Muniraju was travelling to Chickaballapur from Bangalore. An altercation took place between him and the conductor and the two exchanged blows inside the bus. His supporters damaged the bus and assaulted the conductor.The police have arrested two persons.
