KURNOOL: Former Minister M. Mareppa faulted APCC chief D. Srinivas for thrusting upon the Congress party the electoral truck with Praja Rajyam. Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, Mr. Mareppa said forging an alliance with PR was part of the personal agenda of Mr. Srinivas which was forced upon the party. Instead of an alliance, Mr. Srinivas could have worked out a merger formula which would have helped the Congress party in the long run. Mr. Mareppa said it was time for APCC chief to vacate the post for more young and energetic leaders considering the challenges before the party.
