ALAPPUZHA: UDF Alappuzha Constituency Election in-charge, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, has alleged that Ministers of the LDF were violating the poll model code of conduct by going door to door in the constituency, receiving memoranda and giving promises apart from forcing officials to realise these promises. Mr. Radhakrishnan said here on Tuesday that the UDF had lodged a complaint with the District Electoral Officer in this regard and demanded that the observers deputed by the Central Election Commission look into the matter urgently. The promises doled out by the Ministers mainly pertained to official transfers, he alleged. The LDF was misusing government machinery because it feared defeat, he said.
