KOTTAYAM: St Aloysius Higher Secondary School, Athirampuzha, near here, was closed for the day after the Police control room here received an anonymous call regarding a bomb planted in the school compound. The police soon informed the school authorities and students were moved to safety after declaring a holiday for the institution. Special squads including the dog squad, arrived on the spot soon. However, the information turned out to be a hoax. The police said they had identified the public call booth from where the call originated and have also zeroed in on a minor, a student of the school, who had made the call. A case has been registered under Section 506 of IPC which attracts jail of up to two years and a fine.
