Two students injured in group clash

SALEM: Two students of a private law college sustained injuries in a group clash here on Monday night.

Sources said that a clash broke out when a group of senior students reportedly demanded money from two junior students, who were on the way to a tea stall. It was claimed that a group of seven senior students beat their juniors during the clash.

One of junior students received serious injuries to his arm and another to his left ear. The injured were admitted to the Salem Government Medical College Hospital. The police registered a case. Further investigation is on.
