Four constables placed under suspension

SALEM: Four constables attached to Armed Reserve Police, who were on duty at the Stanley reservoir in Mettur, have been placed under suspension on the charges of manhandling a few native fishermen over an issue recently.

Salem Superintendent of Police N. M. Mayilvahanan after a preliminary inquiry had placed them under suspension.

The suspended constables are Elango, Saravanan, Kandan and Karunakaran, all attached to AR Police, pending further inquiry.
