VIZIANAGARAM: Additional Director-General of Police (APSP Battalions) S. K. Jayachandra has asked stipendiary trainee cadet police constables (Armed Reserve) to work without fear or favour and maintain good relations with public to erase the general misconception over police personnel. Speaking at the “passing out parade” of stipendiary trainee constables, who have completed nine months of training. Anti-social elementsMr. Jayachandra said that the task of a constable was not easy because every department required their services. He said they must have to fight anti-social elements living within society. At the 5th Battalion, Chintalavalasa, near here, 337 AR constables were imparted training and 202 more in Visakhapatnam. All the 539 trainees who participated in the parade this morning were administered oath. DIG (Battalions) Nagamuni Naik, Superintendent of Police Y. Gangadhar, Additional Commandant of 5th Battalion C. E. Warren and others were present.
