Raichur
Raichur: One woman and two children drowned while they were crossing the Tungabhadra in a boat in the district on Monday. They were returning after attending prayers at a dargah in Mukkunda village of Sindhanur taluk. The dead have been identified as Shahida Begum (20), Shahid Khadri (3) and Shahanaz Begum (1). According to reports, the boat was carrying eight persons from the Alamsha Dargah at the village. RecoveredThe police have recovered Shahida Begum’s body and are searching for the other two.
