Vignan students in kabaddi team

GUNTUR: Four students of Vignan engineering colleges were selected in the JNTU-Kakinada kabaddi team for the inter-university competitions.

In the recently concluded selections, A. Anil Kumar of final year mechanical, G.V. Subba Rao of III year mechanical, E. Raghuvamsi of III year EEE were selected as part of the main team, while Ch. Ramana Murthy of chemical engineering was chosen as a standby player.

These students, as part of the JNTU-Kakinada team, will participate in the Inter-University Kabaddi Championship to be conducted at the national level on November 15, 16 and 17 at Kuvempu University in Karnataka.

Vignan University Chancellor Lavu Rathaiah commended their effort and appreciated physical director K. Dasaradharami Reddy for his efforts.
