NEW DELHI: Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) on Tuesday launched new version of its sports utility vehicle Honda CR-V offering a distinctive combination of refined styling and high quality. Priced between Rs. 21.92 lakh and Rs. 24.12 lakh, the new CR-V is equipped with latest luxury and safety features. It is 45 mm longer than its predecessor and comes with ten-spoke alloy wheel design. The Honda CR-V will continue to be available in 2-litre two-wheel drive, and also 2.4 litre manual and automatic transmission, real-time four-wheel drive. The 2.4 L model now comes with a steering-mounted cruise control system with illuminated controls to ensure comfort and convenience for the customer with one-touch operation. According to HSCI Director (Marketing) Tatsuya Natsume, “The Honda CR-V is a refined sports utility vehicle meant for customers who are looking for SUV capabilities along with car-like comfort. The new Honda CR-V further expands the value reflecting growing customer demand for quality and premium products in the SUV market.” The Honda CR-V is sold as a completely built unit (CBU) import and will be available on confirmed order basis for the customers. The company has sold nearly 12,500 units of the SUV since its India launch in 2003.
