Elgi Equipments recommends interim

CHENNAI: Elgi Equipments has reported a net profit of

Rs. 17.28 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2009, against Rs. 12.68 crore in the year-ago period. Net sales and income from operations were Rs. 161.53 crore against Rs. 146.67 crore. The company has announced an interim dividend of 75 paise per share of Re. one each. — Corporate Reporter
