Entries close by November 4 and for details contact Phone Nos. 27801936 / 92471 43456. Footballer deadFormer Andhra Pradesh football captain E. Satyanarayana passed away after prolonged illness. He was 70. The late mid-fielder was a contemporary of some of the big names from the City like late Yusuf Khan, Zulfiquaruddin and Nayeemuddin. In fact, Nayeemuddin was present in the City to pay his last respects to the departed soul. Satyanarayana was also a member of the State team which won the Santosh Trophy in the 50s and the chief patron of the Shastri Soccer Club of Trimulgherry. The club secretary Jessuraj expressed profound shock at the demise of “a great footballer”.
