HYDERABAD: Apollo Group of Hospitals on Sunday launched ‘Apollo knee clinics’ offering a holistic ‘360 degree approach’ treatment for pain-free movement. At the Apollo Health City here, the facility was inaugurated by ace New Zealand cricketer Sir Richard Hadlee. Simultaneously the centres were launched at seven locations in the State, including Karimnagar and Kakinada besides, four in Hyderabad. The approach includes diagnosis, treatment, surgery and rehabilitation. Chairman Pratap C. Reddy said these facilities would be operational across all the Group hospitals within a fortnight with experts, including two orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists and nutritionists, six days a week between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sir Hadlee said, he was in New Delhi last week when an Australian cricketer had suggested that he should visit the Apollo Health City for his knee problem. He was impressed with the professional approach and care of the hospital team, which had examined him.
