Cultivate leadership qualities, students told

Udhagamandalam: Students should strive to cultivate leadership qualities, Vice-Chancellor of JSS University B. Suresh said here on Saturday.

Presiding over the college day celebrations of JSS College of Pharmacy, he said that focus on all round development will help students move up in life.

Pointing out that the demand for pharmacists is growing world wide, he said that many universities including the University of Illinois and Long Island University have come forward to exchange students and collaborate in research activities with the JSS University.

The Registrar of the JSS University Mruthyunjaya P.Kulenur, who was also the chief guest, said that the university had diversified its activities.

The Principal, JSS Medical College, Mysore, H. Basavana Gowdappa said that the growing diabetes related problems among Indians has become a major source of concern.
